I never thought I'd say this but... Eric Cartman was right about something. He said the following: "Naw dude, Independent films are those black and white hippy movies. They're always about gay cowboys eating pudding." Now it has come true I pray more things he said don't come true... because it will be a much scarier world if it does.

According to a poll by DVD rental firm ScreenSelect.co.uk, the 10 worst remakes were: 1) Get Carter 2) Psycho 3) Thunderbirds 4) La Femme Nikita(Point of No Return) 5) Charlie's Angels 6) Alfie 7) Planet of the Apes 8) Starsky and Hutch 9) Cape Fear 10) Oceans Eleven. After watching this ad that was probably designed to garner new clients for the agency, it made me wonder why more real ads aren't this audacious. I mean, for the shock factor alone, it would be worth it. Even if it was for the post 9PM time slot, I think it would be so worth it. I want companies to take more risks... be willing to push the envelope really far. YOU CAN DO IT!

When I was reading through the news on Yahoo!, I saw an ad for the FavoriteAdvertising Icon Poll , but they made the ad look like a boxing poster(Willthe Pillsbury Doughboy topple the Kool-Aid Man?), and it got me to thinking: I'dactually pay to see that. I mean, come on... who wouldn't want to see Mr. Clean take on the MichelinMan in a no-holds-barred street brawl (my money would be on the Michelin Man in3), or the Morton Salt Girl taking on the Miss Chiquita in a cat fight.
