After watching
this Quicktime video
does anyone get the feeling Bush doesn't understand what 'sovereignty' in this particular case means?
Honestly, I haven't seen that kind of clarity in an answer since Jean Chretien said: "A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven."

Yes, Bush is full of these , called Bushisms.
There are entire books of them, there are so many.
Like : Rarely is the question asked : Is our children learning?
Yeah, it's rarely asked because the grammer is so poor only idiots would ask it ! Oh, well , there you go.
Search the Net for Bushisms or Bush blunders and you'll get a bunch!

It surprises me that, given that it has always been considered rude and crass to make fun of dumb people (intellectually challenged for you PC folks), this behaviour has become so prevalent on the left. Assuming they really believe Bush is dumb, has it become ok to make fun of dumb people? How about crippled people? Mentally retarded?
I suspect they really don't think Bush is dumb, but are using it as a device to attempt to discredit him.
And if they really do think he is dumb. Shame on you. Didn't your mother teach you it's not nice to make fun of others for their handicaps? And to think the left is supposed to be the more compassionate, feeling party.

I just thought it was funny that that was how he chose to try to BS his way out of that answer.

Everybody makes mistakes. It's pretty hard to top Bush's record for them , though.

I would feel sorry for him if he weren't the fake President. I mean , pretending to read a book upside down, verbal blunders that go on forever.
But since he puts myself and the ones I love in harm's way , I don't feel bad. Besides, he wasn't even "elected".
Oh , and you never made fun of Bill Clinton , imeasurable times smarter than Bush? Shame on you , too!

a matter of opinion, unless you're talking about trivial mistakes such as stumbling over a word... I mean, I would think that you would judge a candidate more on his issues than his diction... right?
verbal blunders that go on forever.
Oops, I guess not. Well at least now I know the real reason that presidents are elected! at least according to democrats who are looking to slander Bush's name no matter how unreasonable the method
Besides, he wasn't even "elected".
Oh yeah, I forgot. He lead the revolution against Gore and forcefully put himself in the office. For a second I thought this was a democracy, in which EVERY president is elected.

You spelled grammar incorrectly and your punctuation is all over the map.

Well, Native Americans are suffering because of their poor immigration policies in the 17th-18th centuries.

I wouldn't go so far as to call him retarded or crippled, but I don't think he is as intelligent as his father or brother Jeb.
