In a previous article , I complained about the lack of quality games at the beginning of the college football season. I am glad to report that the Miami vs. Florida State game has been rescheduled for tonight, after being delayed because of Frances. This makes my weekend, because after tonight, I probably get to see Michigan vs. Notre Dame tomorrow(though I wish they would show the ISU-Iowa or Illini vs. UCLA game in my region instead of what I fear is going to be MSU vs. Central Michiga...

I await the arrival of college football season with a blend of both unending enthusiasm and a little bit of dread. I love college football in almost all its glorious shades, but there is one thing that always leaves me disappointed. You see, I know that the enlightened Athletic Directors are going to do something which, while being the best interests of the schools they represent, make the beginning of the season BORING!
