A little bit weird, a little bit political with a lot of humor.
How I freaked out my former coworkers for just 12 bucks!

We had an office Halloween party last year... and seeing how I am a cheap bastard... I spent the minimum I could get away with... which was $12. I think it turned out OK though.... hehehe.

Breakdown of immediate costs:

10 dollars for cheapo costume
2 dollars for rubber gloves

I had that old winter coat and those boots hanging around for a long time.... and the coat especially came in handy when I discovered that the suit that came with it was designed for a shorter man than I(I'm 6'3), so I ended up just wearing them like pants with the coat on top.

Of course, I paid for that cheapness, as it was a very balmy October.... so I was sweating heavily when I was in the costume. I had to take the mask off quite a few times... though I admit it was fun freaking people out as I walked around it in. I think the best anecdote of the party was my boss being on the phone in her office and she was talking to someone at a charity, and she looked up and saw me walking in after putting it on... and her reaction was the ever classic "Holy Shit!". Suffice it to say, there was little doubt about who was going to win best costume that day. Good times, Good times.

It was also a very funny physical analogy for how the office was a few weeks before, where everyone was at everyone's throat and it was generally not a very pleasant place to be... almost toxic really.

Now, if I was 100% evil, I would have worn it to the door when the little kids came-a-knocking... but if it was freaking out adults... I don't think some of the kids would have liked it... though i am sure some of them would have LOVED it too.

So, what is the best costume you've ever had?

Well, since you asked, I posted an article about them a couple of weeks ago.... The last one is probably my favorite, and (as described) it got me the best costume compliment ever.
Check it out here.

With those lenses I am surprised you haven't also tried playing a "grey" too... because those are alien-like eyes.

Very nice, history!

Cheap and disturbing.

My favorite costume (well, for my kids anyway) was this one:

Well if that's the route you're going........I knew a guy once who swore that for Halloween, he was going naked on a pair of rollerskates, as a pull toy.

But did he actually do that though... Its one thing to say it... its another to actually go that route....

Your guy is SOOO cute, Texas!!! Here's mine:

He's going to be this again this year, but he'll fill out the costume to it's fullest extent.

As for me, I've only done the typical costumes...a witch once, a cat another time, then a devil...boring!!
