A little bit weird, a little bit political with a lot of humor.
That was an unflattering comparison!

Vanity Fair called Jon Stewart "the Dan Rather of infotainment"..... that is defamation of character that is!

The very idea! That comparison debases everything that the Peabody and Emmy-award winning Daily Show stands for... and he shouldn't stand for that kind of slander and character assassination. I smell a lawsuit a-comin'....

Of course, he could always use such a quote to sell his book, America-The Book which could work despite the libelous overtones of that statement. But my vote is for a lawsuit all the way now. Come on Jon, you can do it!

Jon is the best.

I don't think he'd care. In referring to Dan Rather on the Ellen show he said that he's grateful to see fake news taking off like this.

He had the best backstage quotes at the Emmys too!

In mocking a reporter who had asked him about big changes at the Daily Show, he said: "We'd like to introduce a baby. We feel that some of the characters have gotten stale. Episode in Hawaii has been suggested by Stephen Colbert. Meat locker. Evil twin has been suggested. Gay character. Good stuff."
