A little bit weird, a little bit political with a lot of humor.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but Fox is introducing a very scary thing.... Skating with Celebrities. I think the promos should have the theme music from Jaws on them, because as a concept it is scary AND it bites. Be afraid, be very afraid. *wishing Fox would bring back quality programming... like when Lawn Ornaments attack*

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, And never thought upon, The flames of love extinguished, And freely past and gone? Is thy kind heart now grown so cold In that loving breast of thine, That thou canst never once reflect On old-long-syne?

This Sunday comedian Patton Oswalt(best known as Spence on "The King of Queens") has a special on Comedy Central, and I was watching a preview of it, and he just totally ripped into reality shows, and I have to tell you, it's classic. Someone needed to say it, and I am sort of glad it was him. Check it out!

When I first heard that they were going to be redoing Gilligan's Island as a reality show, at first I thought it sounded like a cool idea... but then I started having second thoughts... I mean, it could turn into something like Temptation Island or be a stale rip-off of Survivor, where the people wouldn't be likeable and it would just feel like something that Fox would turn out to fill its summer schedule.... and anyone who has watched summer tv knows exactly what I am talking about. But I...

As everyone knows.... I am an evil genius , and I am a James Bond fan, so naturally, I would want to find out if I was a Bond Villain, who would I be.... so I found a little test to discover who I'd be... and let's just say, I wasn't surprised.... Auric Goldfinger Which James Bond Villain Are You!? brought to you by Quizilla I am the dude who got to counter Connery's "Do you expect me to talk?" with "No, Mr. Bond -- I expect you to die!" and gets a Shirley Basse...

I am glad to report that from what I could see, Issaquah, Washington-based Modest Mouse performed live on SNL, becoming the first musical guest since October 23rd(at least), to perform without the aid of a backing track or a (under)lying vocal line. In support of their most recent album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News ,(very fitting I must say), the band played two live tracks, and were surprisingly decent on a stage that is notorious for its less than stellar acoustics. Brav...

If I was the emperor of Network TV: - I would put a moratorium on new reality show development for 18-24 months. Existing franchises could go on... so shows like Survivor and the Apprentice could continue... but at the same time, it would stop a lot of the crap that is coming down the pike, and it would mean that more scripted shows, and more writers would have work. - I would mandate that only two shows can carry the same banner... which would mean that Wolf's Law and Order and Bruc...

Ok, there has been a trend forming ever since the Mole II was aired for three episodes in its Fall slot in 2001 and restarted the following May. When it happened, there was a fervour... and a lot of calls from fans to boycott watching the network. But it passed, and Reality TV recovered. Then Fox cancelled Forever Eden and Playing it Straight after it specifically said that no matter the ratings, they would run their course. And again, the fans(all 6 of them) cried foul and claimed they wo...

It is time to rejoice, for the future is going to be glorious. First Craig Kilborn quits the Late Late Show, and now Jay Leno has announced his retirement date, giving Conan O'Brien the 11:30 slot. O'Brien, who was signed to a new 5-year deal, is now committed to NBC until the change over, which means that he won't be moving to CBS or ABC anytime in the near future, which means that when Letterman retires, there is going to be some new blood in Network Talk Shows. The announcement will be...

James Caviezel, who was last seen as Jesus Christ, is rumored to be in the running to play Superman in Bryan Singer's new retelling of that mythos(thank you Kevin Smith for putting the word "mythos" and Superman forever together in my mind).A lot of actors have expressed fears that playing the Man in Steel would typecast them, but Caviezel would seem to fit will in the role, and after playing Jesus... it would seem to be hard to get typecast as Superman. Then again, he has already played ...
